I use yaoi as a more general term, right or wrong, for the gay stuff, though knowing better anyway, but that be not the point

Well, the OP is talking primarily about fic, which is mostly what my comments were directed at, though in general I've found a lot of NC-17 art in the fandoms I'm interested in.

I don't really think a difference of opinions is going to 'explode' - I'm not one for wank over fandom or genres.
