Mary Sue: Female character that was put into the piece in question for no purpose other than the writer/author/whatever wanted them there and forced the plot around them. Are viewed as "perfect" versions of their creators. Generally have the following traits: Pretty, breathy voice, loved by all but run from by the intended love interest for angsty dramatic reasons (at least for a while, they usually get the interest in the end), happy most of the time but make being sad look pretty, self-sacrificing.

Like the secret said, KH/2 has convinced me that the only reason she is even in ANY game in the first place is because some programmer wanted to insert a perfected version of themselves into it.

Whaaaaaat. You think she's "perfect"? What an incredibly shallow interpretation of Aerith's character. She's anything but perfect. She's also bossy, physically a weakling, and sometimes even being too nice is a flaw... I could go on. Really.

And to think, you would know this if you actually played Final Fantasy VII. Where she happens to be completely different.

I mean, what the hell. She didn't even have a big part in KH OR KH2. You think that's enough to write her off as a Mary Sue? Way to fail.

...I am, of course, referring to FF7 Aerith. Kingdom Hearts kinda mangled her personality.
