I use the theory to explain the fact that he has two hearts and to keep his assumed asexuality in tact. Of course, my Intro to Biology course gave me the scientific knowledge.

Ahaaaa, I see. I kinda like that, not going to lie. ;D

Who said the Original Series needed to be redone, revamped, or generally improved? The constant "need" to re-do and "bring a series into a new era" has brought about some of the worst film making I've seen in recent years. ("House of Wax" for an example was a travesty upon both the Vincent Price version & the Faye Wray version.)

The Original Series still has enough pull the way it is without being re-done. If the movie doesn't make a travesty of the original, I'll be quite surprised.

Well it doesn't *need* to be redone by any means - but it might be cool now that we have [much] better technology to see a fresh spin on it with some new actors. It's not necessary - it's entertaining. That's what the whole business is about, isn't it?
