If this is a Tripods secret, anon, I am SO on board with this.

The 1980s TV series was unevenly good about adapting it, but it really falls flat because it was cancelled before they could do the Pool of Fire. :|

The problem is the Silimarionicon has a relatively small fandom, that's all. You're not going to get a lot of art for a small fandom.

I enjoyed season seven more than most people but, yeah, it's not the greatest. Hallucifer was fun though and the sam!whump was pretty ace in a lot of episodes if that's your thing. Also, Death's Door is one of my favorite episodes in the series overall; I cry every time I watch it.

I think you could probably skip the season and be fine though tbh. The supernatural wiki has pretty detailed recaps of each episode, so you could just read those if you're really worried (hell, you can skim the episode transcripts if you really want to): http://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/Season_7

Eh, it depends which version of events you're looking at since Tolkien walked back the rape because he didn't want elves to be rapists, and now what actually happened is very much a subject of debate. Personally, I feel that Maeglin had some factors against him that at least make him understandable, if not defensible. Celegorm and Curufin are the ones that I would put in the category of hating for their treatment of women. Fuck those guys. I would rather Maeglin had been able to get some help.
