I just bought a $32 eyeshadow palette I didn't need, and it has brought me so much joy.

I bought a candle in a really blue pretty pottery elephant and when the candle is burnt out I can clean it out and plant something inside. :•) 🐘

I got a genuine yak's wool shawl/wrap/blanket thing from the local Tibetan center. Is awesome.

I celebrated payday yesterday by buying a three-dollar hunk of fancy French cheese. Absolutely delicious.

I read that as "turkey banquet" at first. XD

I don't wear a lot of skirts, but I wanted a mid length one because long stuff gets tangled in my wheels and anything above the knee is awkward because I'm constantly aware that I might flash someone.
Ordering online can be so disappointing but it fits and it's so swishy.

I might be wearing it now even though I'm just sitting on my bed listening to music.

I didn't entirely need new shoes, but i bought a pair of nice work shoes today, and they made me happy. It is so hard for me to find shoes that I can wear that look nice enough for work, so I was really happy to find them. Was just browsing while my mother looked for Christmas presents, not intending to buy anything, so it was nice to come away with an unexpected treat.

Blankets are the best!

I recently bought a red lipstick. I rarely wear lipstick and, when I do, the colors are always neutral, but the red is so lovely and vibrant and I feel like a more confident person when I wear it.

I found an open-weave black baby-doll style top for $30 at Target. I'll need to wear it over something, like a singlet top (wifebeater?), but still, it's cute.

Same store I also found the Warcraft DVD on sale, also foldy bags.

A model red Triplane. I'm having so much trouble at the moment with people who are supposed to be on my side and aren't. It's nice to be reminded that there were people who were openly out to get you but who ran the same, or greater, risks and could on occasion behave chivalrously.

Related to your purchase, I got an electric blanket for the upcoming winter months. I can't wait for it to get cold so that I can use it! It's all fuzzy and snuggly too. :)

I also recently-ish bought myself a necklace with a hedgehog pendant. Super cute. Super not necessary to my life. But honestly, it makes me a little happier every time I wear it, so I consider it a good investment! :P

Ticket to a Powerwolf gig tomorrow. Can't wait to see Falk Maria run around on stage like a hyper sugar high kid when not playing the organ. If I'm lucky he'll gay it up with his band mates, too.

I got this hella super soft sweater that says "The snuggle is real." Like... SO SOFT. I can't stop petting myself and it makes me feel snuggly and happy.
