I tried to get you without context OP but it still seems derailing, tbh.
What I see most of the time is that many slash fans use LGBT+ representation to prop gay ships that aren't canon and call anyone who ships the het alternative, even if canon, homomophobic. However, it's hard to not notice that many slash fans who use the LGBT+ representation argument still usually ship only, or predomintly, M/M ships with white straight guys, and they ignore poc and canon gay characters.
Some people can easily create reasons pro shipping two straight white guys together but on the flip side, they have unreasonable high standards for women, poc and canon gay characters who are not their favorites.
