Beating Arthas in WoW. I was co-leader of our raid group. Organizing and training ten people at once in a game is no fan. I can't imagine how hard 25 people raids were. It took months to get thru the entire raid for our group.

you have my deepest sympathies (that's one of the reasons I like to try to solo raids if possible - no patience for cat herding)

Yeah, it could get really annoying trying to organize. Our tanks especially were really hard headed.

I think one of the things about WoW that had me the most frustrated is the whole Guild thing. Please do not send me a guild invite while I'm trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing in a dungeon when it's the first time I've been in that dungeon. I'm already bitter about guilds so, your chances of me joining are slim to none (Leaders were gone two years and I did a shit ton of work leveling the guild in their absence, I'm gone for a month, maybe two, I come back to find I'm kicked out. What the flying fuck.)

Yeah, our first guild got taken over and merged with a separate guild. :(

I do not envy raid leaders at all, it looks like a lot of stress with potentially very little gain depending on the guild. That and I would never be able to keep my cool for it.

You're awesome for having done that tbh.

It helped that most of us were pretty close friends. Though, I expect that could be said of most raid groups.
