That one of the most popular ships in the fandom that I've recently dipped into is one that the fans frequently laugh about how one person gets abused by the other. And they think that's totally normal and okay.

Which fandom? And is the ship actually abusive or "if anyone ever hurts your feelings under any circumstances they're abusive" tumblr-abusive?

DA That was my first thought to. Is this like "Aww, Hank Pym punched Janet, so romantic!" Or like... Hulk calls Thor 'blondie' when he obviously doesn't like it he's ABUSIVE. ?

Was it a woman being violent towards a man? Because fandom, and audiences in general, can often be pretty hypocritical about that.
