AO3 definitely does allow you to sort by kudos, which is equally susceptible to abuse?

But I mostly just wanted to confirm whether or not the feature actually exists, because I think it would be useful for me and I thought you couldn't do it, so I was confused.

You can, in the box on the right. There's a dropdown where you can pick "kudos" as the "sort by" method (within a tag).

Sorry, I should have been clearer about my question.

OP made it sound like you could sort by the ratio of kudos to hits - kudos/hit - rather than just by kudos or by hit. Which would be a really useful feature if you're searching by tags rather than within a specific fandom, because fandoms differ wildly in the amount of attention they get, and therefore in the amount of kudos they have, which kudos/hit would control for. That's the option that I wasn't aware existed.
