I genuinely liked the second movie and found it more enjoyable than the first. it felt like a return to form and it's a shame the show didn't follow suit. Old spongebob is still loved though. I know plenty of adults who love it + memes

I haven't seen Spongebob in ages. The last episode I saw was really terrible and it was about Squidward being a giant baby because he had a swelled head. It was someone's paraphilic infantilism fantasy come to life...

positive buzz? I'm pretty sure that most of what I see about it is positive. People have good feelings toward it.

My Halloween costume this year is DoodleBob (SpongeBob SquarePants season 2, Frankendoodle). I needed a cheap costume and I spent $1.07 total.

I bought a white foam core poster board from the Dollar Tree, drew DoodleBob on it with a Sharpie, and taped string on the top and sides so I could wear it like an apron. I made a giant pencil out of a pink pool noodle, newspaper, the top half of a small soda bottle (lid colored with a black Sharpie and the plastic painted brown), a tin can, yellow wrapping paper, and tape. I drew an anchor and a ring around the middle of the tin can so it looks like the pencil from the show. I thought about just getting a large crayon bank the Dollar Tree had, but I had everything to make the pencil already.
