Who put you up to asking this?

Ending up in a mental institution against my will.

That one day I will open a door OR look through a window at night and there will be a killer/zombie on the other side.

I am also convinced I have cancer all the time. I think because my grandmother got breast cancer and the way we found out was a bit sudden and confusing.

After my granddad died of caner, I think I spent like 3 years feeling for tumors. Then my when dad got cancer, i actually did find a bump (but it turned out benign).

First time I went to the gyno, I for sure thought I'd have some kind of cancer.

I honestly still think I'll die of it.

To be fair, when you get old enough cancer is inevitable.

People spying on me through my webcam. My Internet service provider taking notes on what kind of porn I watch/read.

Put a band-aid or post-it note over your webcam when you aren't using it. My aunt is a computer/technology teacher and tells her students (and their parents), to cover them.

People thinking I'm lying when I'm not. It's worst any time someone would have reason to think I might lie (like the time I missed a big group presentation I was dreading because I was sick and was afraid they wouldn't believe I was really sick), but I worry about it other times when there's no reason for anyone to think I'm lying too. I don't know why.

People breaking into my apartment. Living alone is certainly something.

Good thing we're not roommates, I'd give you a stroke. XD *is always forgetting to lock the front door*

Same, for sure. Doesn't help that I don't exactly live in the best neighborhood and property crime is a huge issue here right now. All I can do is keep the door locked; I can't afford a security system and I can't afford to move anywhere better.

That my friends don't actually like me.
Having my best friend turn into a raging bitch a few years ago and cut me off very nastily and dramatically did not help.

Ironically I stopped worrying about this so much after one of my best friends abandoned me a few years ago (we'd been best friends since we were 12 and then an argument on Tumblr made her decide I'm mean to straight people). I got closer to the friends I still have since then and I'm more secure in those friendships than ever.

Pretty much all (except one) of my friends have abandoned me.

That occurred last year for me.

Now I am down to one friend.

Drinking something with a straw, slipping, and ending up with the straw lodged in my throat.

Some F!S ones: People figuring out which secrets are mine, and people thinking a secret is mine when it isn't. There's one from years ago that still haunts me because it's about a pretty obscure fandom, and the OP's replies in the comments sounded like their experience of being a fan was really close to mine. But the secret was about the OP being a literal pedophile (and I do mean actual literal, not tumblr literal) so yeeeeeahhhhh.

Losing my eyesight, my hands, or the rest of my hearing.

- Super paranoid about anyone going into my room behind my back and stealing things (Once Bitten Twice Shy)

- If I can't hear what someone is talking about I automatically assume they're talking about me behind my back, and never positively. (Again, once bitten, twice shy)

- About away from home if anyone in my family is still home. (GUESS WHO HAS TRUST ISSUES WITH THEIR FAMILY.)

Getting some weird, crazy disease, like a brain eating parasite, or skin melting tumors. It's legit because some of those crazy diseases can come suddenly, with no warning or family history.

Driving

I do not feel comfortable with driving. I have terrible reaction time, my arms and legs will suddenly feel like they are broken (when I had my learner's permit, an episode of that came very close to making me crash), and I am terrified I will cause an accident that will end up with people dying or being severely injured. I have nightmares about causing the accidents.

That I'll get cancer or something else horribly expensive and be faced with having to decide how much money the rest of my life is worth.
