I'm currently powering my way through CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

I'm almost done with season 1.

For awhile I was mixing it up with NCIS and couldn't work out why it seemed so inconsistent. Interesting characters and stories focussed around rather heartbreaking crime scenes then suddenly stilted crimes with hardly a twist built around character drama and angst.

Then I realised different TV shows and it's CSI I like, not NCIS. Anyway, enjoying it because it's like watching a puzzle unfold, the characters are varied, their drama believable and not spreading out over too many episodes and quite often the endings are sad.

Although last night's the people got away with murder and a touching speech at the end about how 1 person could have saved the guy.
