Nothing alcoholic as I have a migraine and alcohol and painkillers don't mix. Probably just diet coke and water.

Bleh, the migraine might be the lesser of the two evils.

Actually, there are medications for migraines that have caffeine in them. (Excedrin Migraine, Fioricet, Fiorinal, etc.) The caffeine actually helps the other medication work better and to relieve pain from your migraine.

Migraines are one of those weird things where what works for some people will make things worse for other people.

Caffeine helps my migraines, while opiates cause me rebound headaches, and in some cases, actually make my migraine worse.
