muscadine wine

This is a thing that I only just even learned exists like last week, and I really want to try some.

It seems to be incredibly regional (South/North Carolina) but it is fabulous. At least for me, who just wants a nice chilled wine that is easy to drink with no aftertaste. I highly, highly recommend Duplin. I'm partial to Carolina Red, Black River Red, and either Cool, Easy, or Sweet Muscadine. It's just a nice refreshing wine without being overly sweet like moscato.

I know it's super easy to ind in the Southeast US (think FL/GA/SC/NC/VA) but I don't know about elsewhere. My dad brings them back to me by the case almost because they're so easy to get there and fairly cheap.

Well, I also just even recently found out what a muscadine was and my mind was blown lol. I'll have to be on the lookout for it.

It's funny, I drank it in college and just didn't think anything of it until I graduated and then realized how much I love it.

They sing about muscadine wine in country songs all the time because it's a grape native to the southeast.
