The second series will give plenty of time to focus on Rose. It's very clear to me, I feel at least from the way the season finale played out, that Alisha's role be lessened in the second season and Rose will be highlighted.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-30 06:47 am (UTC)(link)I understand why some people are angry with ufotable making the anime an Alisha festival. (I love her in the game/manga) Japanese fans were boycotting the game, giving it fake reviews on amazon and ruining things to the point where Rose's VA and the director had to apologize/simply didn't attend to the most important tales of event. They gave in to the pressure and this went to the character development of everyone else.
For me Alisha kind of ruined the whole anime experience. At first, I was happy that she got more role, but then ufotable slowly started focusing more on her and less on Sorey and co. And when you realise that 12 episodes just passed, they messed up the most important scene from the game, only to make Alisha a central figure, it's angering. On that 12+1 episodes we barely got any proper dialogues between the seraphs and Sorey, whenever they were finally separated from the princess ufotable shooed them back to her, kindly dismissing all existing and good plotline from the game.
Addig more to the game plot would've been so much more interesting. If they DID care for plot and not only about pushing the right buttons on people, they would not write out Uno/ Lords of the Lands completely. Bamm, squire!Alisha would have a seraph in Ladylake who could help her! Working together with a seraph would also prove that Sorey's dream can be achieved! (I blame the manga for making me love the connection between Uno and Alisha)
Also they made malevolence this based-on-hate concept, while in the game simple mental illnesses can cause people to turn into hellions! We had Sorey talking people out of suicide and such...! He had to face kids turned into hellions, saved them only for them to be slaughtered days later!
And the anime's ending??? Sorey loses his resonance at Glaivend and loses the ability to see seraphs. In the game, aside from Mikleo crying, that was an important plot, because he was completely alone for the first time, in a world unknown to him.
