Enjoying something =/= arguing against something else.

OP is just describing what they themselves get a kick out of. Pre-empting it with "I should be all about representation" doesn't automatically mean they're against it.

This is part of the reason people get annoyed by diversity crusaders. You can't just respond to something for what it is, you have to assume the worst of people and school them accordingly.

I personally like things that are considered queer baiting.

The difference is a lot of shows are doing it knowing how people like it but not planning to go through with it.

And since we know that they pretty much never plan to go through with it...it's not really ship teasing.

So I want the teasing to continue, but having a chance of it actually happening would be really fucking nice.

Also so instances of what you said are just friendly affection won't just be randomly be called queer baiting...

I see them doing exactly what they've always done with het ships - infinitely capitalizing on the UST. Because no matter the gender of the people involved, once the UST is resolved, the whole appeal of the dynamic is gone.
