If the author chooses to go un-anon, they could get some publicity or good advice out of it, since some of us are curious about their work, but I hope they will be aware that some people are going to be assholes and or rip them to shreds or just generally behave like phalluses. I hope they will consider the tradeoff before posting anything publicly.
