I'm inclined to agree, because fandom seemed so much more fun back then, but at the same time I can recognize that it was so much more fun because I was a kid. Fandom could be my top priority. I could produce an endless amount of fic (not high in quality, maybe, but high in quantity!) and have endless discussions about stuff. Now that I'm an adult, that's simple not feasible. There's not enough tiiiime. ;;;;

I will forever mourn journal-based fandom though, hahaha.
