If you like true crime at all, I listened to a fantastic audiobook a while back about a case in the late 19th century where people started finding body parts floating in the East River in NYC. The Murder of the Century by Paul Collins--very interesting and exciting, with lots of gory details, tabloid drama, and general creepiness. I don't usually finish audiobooks but I did finish this one, even though that meant listening after the car trip I got it for.
