It's probably not up there yet, but they mention on one of the pages that Snorunt, if you don't evolve it into a Glalie, and so long as it's female, you can evolve into Froslass.

But here's the thing. Snorunt and Glalie are pure ice types. Froslass is Ice/GHOST.

...you effectively kill your pokemon. It's probably why we have yet to get a Ghost type Eevee. Same thing.

But the new Grass starter starts out as a pure Grass type, but its third stage is Grass/GHOST. So again...you kill your pokemon. It's a lot of fridge horror once you stop to think about it and I sometimes think Game Freak doesn't realize that...or maybe they do and have morbid sense of humor.
