Yes my fandom having characters call someone by a name they would never use in canon and only one character in that canon does use is completely different from the op's fandom having characters call someone by a name they would never use in canon and only one character in that canon does use.

How could I ever have made that mistake, grammatically challenged anon. Tell me.

Because calling a character by their real name instead of a title and several nicknames is different than making characters call someone by a nickname only one person ever uses. If you don't get that, you might be the challenged one, but not grammatically.

"Only one person ever uses this name for this character in canon, it angers me when fan writers have other characters use it"

VS

"Only one person ever uses this name for this character in canon, it angers me when fan writers have other characters use it"

Thanks for sorting out the differences there.

Nope, still not the same thing in these two cases.

A++ rebuttal, would read meaningless attempt to have the last word again.

Said the one trying very hard to get the last word. Yeah, "challenged" sounds about right.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-31 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
But you're still here trying to get it though

If they're challenged, what does that make you?
