Buffy

Now watching season 2 of Buffy. And wow have my shipping tendencies changed. Season 1 didn't give me any shipping urges, but season 2 makes me want to ship Angelus with everyone. I'm thinking of writing a Angelus/Giles fic set during that bit where Giles is captured and tortured. Not sure if there will be an audience, but I really want to write it.

I did find a few Angelus/Buffy fics which I'll be reading tomorrow. And, interestingly, Angelus/Willow. And one good Angelus/Giles fic. I don't know. I'm just really obsessed with Angelus right now. Such a great, creepy villain.

i only liked angelus, angel always annoyed me (him and his weird expressionless face).

his interactions with spike were just fun, though i disliked what he made of dru and spike's relationship. it always struck me as a loving one but dru didn't even blink at all his 'bullying' and flocked to him :/

Yes, poor Dru. Angelus is the one who broke him, and she could not escape him and seemed to not want to. I did always enjoy the Fanged Four interactions, though.

I go back and forth on Angel. I find him a little dull at times. Angelus is definitely more interesting to me, even more so this time around.

i thought he was alright before he turned evil, but after he turned good again i was glad when he went away. i'd need to rewatch to be sure though, my memory of him is very hazy.


it probably doesn't help that the more he got fleshed out the more twilight-ish he became. 100+ guy obsessed with a 15 y/o girl, yikes.

There is definitely an audience for Angelus/Giles. I for one would read the hell out of it and I know there are a few other lurkers who would, too. I dipped a toe into the fandom a few years ago and then went back to lurking but you would be amazed at how active the fandom is. I think the Giles section might even be the largest/most active and most Giles fans will read anything that even mentions him.

Rogue One and Han Solo are confirmed Anthology films. Yoda, Obi-wan, Boba Fett have all been floated as ideas for the third one. What would you like to see in an Anthology film?

Anything but Boba Fett. Ugh, no, please. That might be one Star Wars movie I won't actually go see. I really don't like Fett.

Obi-Wan would be awesome, but so would Yoda. I'd be interested in other movies about the Rebellion. How about the early Rebellion? We do have a Mon Mothma in Rogue One, so why not? It would be especially great if Bail Organa was on it too. Actually, that's another idea: The Organa family with a young Leia.

I feel the same about Boba Fett. I don't have any dislike of him but from what I've heard, any movie about him would be centered around the Star Wars underworld, which I have no interest in. I like the Jedi, not the rogues, but unfortunately, the underworld is very popular so it might end up happening.

I would love to read about Bail and little Leia but I don't think it would make a good movie. I think what I'd like to see is something from the Republic-era Jedi but not the Clone Wars or Anakin or anything big. I'd like to follow a couple Jedi on assignment to strange worlds. Like Kit Fisto dealing with some ancient evil in an underwater world, or Plo Koon trying to negotiate peace on some outer realm planet. I just want to see strange cultures and interesting worlds and Jedi kicking ass.

I think a Bail and Leia movie might work if you make it an early Rebellion movie. Make Bail the main character because the actor is awesome. Add in Mon Mothma. Have the movie mostly about the Rebellion, but with some Organa family scenes.

That Jedi idea is awesome. I'd also love a movie set before the Prequels, something about maybe the early Jedi order or the early Sith or something like that. Or the formation of the Republic.

They had Wedge in a sorta kinda origin of how he got to the rebellion origin story in a recent Star Wars Rebels episode so I don't think they'll do a movie about him.
