In any case, you're flat-out wrong if you think that isn't a consideration for artists. It's easier to draw a skinny androgynous boy and just tack on a monster cock. It's harder to draw a guy that's more built and proportional.

Of course, like you said, this also ties into easy self-insertion for Japanese dudes, but the fact that there are popular male hentai artists who draw more high quality hentai deviate from drawing twiggy dudes occasionally is proof that this isn't always the case.
