How do you know the anon you're replying to likes Fred and George? Maybe they don't. They're only talking about Ginny because she's the love interest of Harry, who was the original subject of the conversation.

It's very strange how often Ginny fans assume everyone who dislikes her likes Fred and George just so they can call them misogynist hypocrites. I love it when those people come back in and say "Well, nobody asked, but since you mention it, I hate the twins too." :3

I don't. The way anon worded their comment reminded me of the Fred/George and Ginny comparison. Because I believe it's in a similar vein to the: She's just a FANGirl Whore, after Harry's FAME and MONEYz. But, as you've pointed out, it's not necessarily true all the time.

Just curious, what side of fandom do you hang out on? Serious. Because I've never seen this. Hating Ginny, Fred and George, yes (And again that's fair bro.) But never in this context.

Well, I appreciate you not outright flaming me. I stand by my belief that some of the people who hate Ginny do so for misogynist or pairing related reasons. I reach this conclusion mostly based on the language they use when describing why the hate her.
