I always did find it weird how FONV's combat seemed a bit backwards compared to even FO3's. It was especially irritating that headshots didn't seem to do as much damage.

And yeah, I love playing on easy mode with the bloody mess perk, so I can smash someone's head to into a million gory prices with just one swing. It's sooo satisfying lmao.

Huh. New Vegas is the only game I've played in the series (the first bit of 1, and finished 3 and NV) where melee, especially unarmed, was fun...unarmed wasn't even viable in 1.

Were we playing the same games, anon? Because FoNV was the only game I ever enjoyed doing unarmed or melee runs in, and it had way more variety in weapons and perks for both than Fo3 or Fo4 did.
