Nope. Now I'm going to have to find that one and watch it. And yes, he never phoned it in. He was an amazing actor. One of the best ever, IMHO.

Another couple of his good ones are The Hound of the Baskervilles if you haven't already seen it, and 1941 (in which he plays a German U-Boat commander and only speaks German; it's a minor role but he's so good in it).
