That's a good recommendation for any show! (But I don't think that's what "kink" means.)

Major Crimes might be the unkinkiest show I've ever watched.

They mean a narrative kink. Replace "sexual tittilation and gratification" with "emotional" and you get the idea.

It is excellent. You might want to watch the last couple episodes of 'The Closer' so you can get the full story on one character in particular.

I strongly, strongly recommend it as well. I started watching it based on a secret here, and I've gotten through four full seasons and half of season five in just over a month.

It's a wonderful show!

I am watching this show right now! :D

I actually started watching when it was The Closer and when that was over, I was glad to see the last of Brenda but sad to loose the rest of the team ... and then I discovered Major Crimes still had everyone else. So happy! And yes, it does found family, and just relationships of all kinds really well. Normally I like cop shows for the cases, but for the most part any more I watch Major Crimes for the characters.

Lt. Tao, Det. Sanchez, Sharon, Provenza, Andy, Buzz, Dr. Morales, Amy Sykes, Andrea Hobbs.... Damnit. I luff them all. But Tao and Sanchez the most of all.

I think I'm all backwards on this show. I'm almost done marathoning it (middle of season five), but I never watched a single ep of The Closer. I was intending to watch it next.

Oooh, yes! I love this show and its family of choice so much. Child storylines usually grate on me so much, but everything with Rusty and Sharon is so good, and the same with Sanchez and Mark. This show just handles the theme so well. Also, yes, Tao, and I'd love to see more of Tao and Morales. *comments and disappears again*

I want Sanchez to have a child/children/family SO VERY BAD. He deserves it.

I love Sharon and Rusty, too. They're great together, he's grown so much and become such a good kid. :)
