At least these characters like... knew each other and had a (mostly off screen) working relationship which is MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR SOME SLASH GIANTS but also both these characters are sooooo overhyped by the fanbase I can't help but agree.

Also writing fluff with Rafe? What? I don't think pairings have to be healthy to be good, and any healthy fluffy shit with Rafe would just be out of character.

I don't like Sam but I kinda liked there being no supernatural. The stupid makes no sense supernatural last chapter was always my least favorite part of otherwise good games (also I just love classic pirates so that plot point really won me over in U4)

i just never understood why she didn't dump him and leave. he never seemed to actually pay attention to her needs beyond the treasure hunts. was the sex that good? i just never understood why she kept sticking around. elena deserved better, tbh.

I completely agree. They've had an off-again, on-again relationship for the longest time, and it's just... not a healthy relationship. I hate it when people say that their relationship is 'goals' because it's really not?
