Non-English music

Usually when I ask for music recs, I get only American or British bands. While those are lovely, the rest of the world must have music industries too, right?

Kent from Sweden just called it quits but left a mighty discography. Some of my fave songs: FF, Dom Andra, 747, Musik non stop, Om du var här, Den döda vinkeln, Ensamheten, La Belle Epoque

I heard Golden Dreams on classical radio and thought it was amazing: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ed2SMJ-mAG8

If you're more into pop, t.A.T.u has some catchy stuff.

I'll also drop this. Just something I heard in a taqueria: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XPBERIbz-jk

Sigur Rós, haven't listened to them in ages but loved not understanding anything except that it was very beautiful and soothing (and used in nature documentaries)

Khalid aka Cheb Khaled (easier to search) is worth a listen.

I have a soft spot for Swedish techno.

I like Mana. They're a pop rock band from Mexico with a bunch of catchy songs. Camila's another good one, but many of their songs sound so sad.
