New Zealand Quake

Any F!S Kiwis out there? Are you guys okay down there? The news we've been getting about your earthquake is very spotty, just saying lots of landslides and tsunami waves hitting the Chatham Islands. Hopes and prayers are with you all.

Thanks! I'm from near where the quake was and it didn't feel that bad, plus I've been living in Christchurch (basically earthquake central nowadays) so I'm pretty desensitised. There's some bad things going down, including a town that's been completely cut off. Most of the bad news is coming from the North Island where they don't get many earthquakes. Still, one earthquake being felt throughout most of the country, especially when said country is multiple islands, isn't great. They keep changing the magnitude but we do know there was over thirty last night that were above 5.0. Biggest quake in a few years, anyway.

Thanks!

It's fine in my part of it so far (I'm touching wood as I type this) - a little light rolling, and the constant rain is more annoying. My family down in Wellington are fine, too. There were some landslides on nearby hill roads, and we're a bit worried about people caught underneath.

Fingers crossed this is the worst of it.
