Oh that's almost certainly true. I'm pretty sure for the majority of things one might send to a food bank (i.e. canned beans, ramen noodles, boxed mac and cheese) the difference between brand name and off brand is pretty negligible.

Unless American food banks are way fancier than what I've come to expect in Canada lol.
