Yes, small fandom is very small - I think that's the problem. You get the crazies who will only see things one way, and the rest of us feel like we can't have, you know, actual intelligent conversations for fear of being ostracized. Primeval is such a great show - I wish it had the same sort of quality fandom like eg. SGA.

Are you sure we aren't the same person? I mean, I thought I was the only SGA fan in Primeval fandom o.O

And yes, I get where you come from. I have the feeling that with Primeval most writers think they can warp the characters up like they want, because we don't have that much canon personality to work with. (I'm scared to look back at what I've written for the fandom, in case I did the same thing. Damn.)
