It's almost like problematic shit is what makes entertainment media interesting or something.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-14 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Bingo.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-14 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
That seems like it's a pretty massive fucking reach considering that the secret didn't say anything about "problematic"

da

But...problems means conflict? Conflict...is really good for stories??

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
"problematic" is one of those tricky words

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
In other words, it gets to mean whatever you want it to mean when you're trying to play the victim?

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
If what OP meant by problematic was "elements that cause dramatic conflict", then I completely apologize and withdraw my post.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ellipsis abuse...is not...

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think that problematic elements are what makes works good. That seems like it's taking it a little too far. I don't think it makes things bad either.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
OP didn't say they were looking for "problematic shit."

I actually had the impression they meant the general style of the movie.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-15 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
They used the words "inoffensive" and "sanitized."
