I guess my upbringing is showing, then. We didn't often go to movies, in part because it was so expensive.... I wasn't even really thinking about the taking-kids-to-the-movies experience.

It was pretty rare for me, too, to be honest, but I think that made it more special. I'll always remember those first viewings, damn. It's definitely not rare for the younger members of my family, and that's awesome.
