In a world where the amish would except my kind of love and not just murder me outright? I'd pretend to, but no, I'd sneak in vital tech and keep it on the DL. Also I'd bring mace and a large sharp knife because amish communities are hell for women.

I don't know enough about the Amish to really answer this. I don't think I'd mind the hard work but without modern medical tech and meds, well for a start I'd be dead a few times over. But practical stuff aside, the worst part for me would be religious obligations. I don't care if other people are religious but I feel like having me participate in religious life and ceremonies would be fucked up for whatever Amish community I was trying to join and for me. I just don't get religion, and it's such a huge part of their lives.

Hahahaha...nope.

I love my conveniences way too much and since the Amish are usually very Religious...yeah no. Besides, I doubt I'd ever fall for some one that religious to begin with.

Obviously, the Amish dude would love me so much, he would leave the Amish community, so whether I would go Amish would be irrelevant.

Honestly, maybe. I went to catholic school, I've done farm work, the technology laws aren't as strict as they seem. For the right (presumably a) guy, I'd give it a shot.
