I don't like them more than the Alien movies but I do enjoy them for the absolute stupid-fun that they are. Though I prefer the first one over the second as the second film has way too many characters I couldn't stand in it, I at least liked some of the characters in the first.

When my son asked to watch Alien(s), he was still too young as far as I was concerned. So we watched AVP. Years later he still prefers it. I regret nothing. :D
