Re: Who was your favorite teacher?

Mr. Kelly. He was my English teacher for 11th and 12th grade. He made us write 20 page research papers each semester (first one on Amy Tan's novels, second comparing the themes of several Stephen King and Poe stories). I loved every moment of it. I loved spending days reading the books, hours researching in our library, writing the first draft for editing, re-editing the paper, and then the success of acing that final paper.

I never got the same sense of accomplishment and fantastic work during my four years of college.
