I don't mind films tackling historical events per se - but the more recent it is, the more sensitive it is obviously. It's just, where's the story that would at all be satisfying from a narrative standpoint in a feature length film? No matter where you went, you'd have to take real creative liberties to make characters and plots, and you don't want to twist real life people's lives' around.
