My husband is mad at me because politics is still popping up on all the sites I go to. So when he gets bored and stares at my screen, he sees politics. And it bugs him because he doesn't want to think about politics and be reminded of all the Very Bad Things that could happen to our family now.

I pointed out that he could just not look (I don't really give a shit if he looks or not, but if it bothers him...) and he got angry and stomped away to another part of the house. And I can't really be sympathetic because if he's choosing to look at it... I mean I'm not even seeking this out but there's very few places on the internet now that don't have something about it.

Here's a second vote for "your husband is being a giant crybaby", and also, he ought to be really embarrassed at this pathetic attempt to control what media you consume when it's none of his damn business. Like, this is a problem that does not have to exist and can be solved entirely through his own low-effort actions, so throwing a tantrum about it is sad. It'd be sad if this were anyone over age 7, but it's especially sad in an allegedly grown ass man. I get that the election cycle and outcome has been incredibly upsetting and scary, but he needs to deal with it in a healthier fashion.
