Oooooh, I would have loved Emmy Rossum as Belle!

And Hugh Jackman as Gaston - have you watched the Gaston sing-off between Hugh Jackman and Luke Evans did on that one show? That was adorable, and they both did so great!

I would've loathed Emmy Rossum as Belle because between her, Gerard Butler, and Joel Schumacher, the 2004 Phantom of the Opera movie was unwatchable--not to mention unlistenable. But Belle does seem to be more in her range than Christine.
