Can't join the military as I have asthma and that's an automatic disqualifyer. And I will be moving away from my family as soon as I find a job. Which should hopefully be at least after February, when I take the Texas bar. I'm hoping before then, but at least I hope soon after Feb.

Incredibly enough, McDonalds doesn't automatically hire everyone that applies. (And a law school degree would probably make philstar "overqualified" for the position.)

Yep. It's amazing how much more hoops I have to jump through after getting a degree because jobs that would have hired me before shoot me down for being over qualified now. It's sucks.
