Also with the recent episode and their kiss was ignored and not even mentioned by themselves or anyone else just feels weird. I know certain people are saying it's realistic since they are adults... but this is anime. Usually something as pivotal as kissing on TV deserves some acknowledgement.

It's like they want to please the shippers but not actually commit to anything.

I saw the exact same argument when they didn't address the love talk on national tv and just like then, I don't see what'd be the point?

It's obvious that, unlike the issues on episode 4, they both get what it means even if at first it was a surprise. There's no need for them to talk about it, and there's a competition immediately after so it's not like they've the time for that if they wanted.

If they do talk about anything like they did before, it'll be after the GPF, and probably in the context of their future plans.

What will happen then? We'll know in a month, but at this point it's hard to believe they'll deny anything that has happened so far even if they don't spent 15 minutes of each episode talking about previous confessions and kisses.

Why would Victor and Yuuri talk about the kiss if it happened almost two weeks ago for them? Why would anyone talk about it when the other characters in the series act like Victor and Yuuri have already hooked up? For example, Chris and those random Victor groupies in episode 6.

I think the photo Pichit put online in episode 6 was way more scandalous. People in-universe already act like Victor and Yuuri are dating so a kiss like that might be surprising, but not scandalous.
