Sally considers her later liaison with him to be consensual; it clearly affects the way she herself feels about the prior attempted rape. I think it's her love for Laurie making her feel better about that time: she wouldn't have daughter if not for him. And while she's not a model parent by any means, she does love Laurie.

And in the end, when Laurie tells Sally she knows about it, Laurie's okay with it. It doesn't condone Blake's many horrific actions, but it doesn't mean everything he did was unilaterally terrible either. Unintended good consequences, perhaps.
