In my town the gym tends to be red throughout the week, and blue on the weekend. From what I've observed (I live down the street from the gym in question) it seems to be because almost all of the Team Valor players in this area are kids and teenagers, so they seem to be coming by after school to play, and on the weekends the adult Team Mystic players congregate at the bar across the road and take the gym.
