I'm thankful for the people who read my fics and for the people who follow me and reblog my posts on Tumblr. And for the friends I've made through fandom.

I'm thankful that the Doctor Strange movie was so awesome. I'm thankful for the MCU in general. I'm thankful that Rogue One is only a month or so away and that it looks really awesome and that it exists at all. I'm thankful for Doctor Who and the upcoming Christmas special and Season 10.

I'm thankful for fanfiction! It is always there to give us the fantasies we want to explore and the aspects that canon doesn't pursue.

I'm also thankful for all those hot MCU actors.

As do I, so going back has been both a great trip down memory lane...and fun to write new, exciting things. Like that drag queen Edgeworth thing I wrote after binge-watching a lot of RuPaul's Drag Race.

I'm thankful for...

-All my favorite TV series, past and present. They've given me some great characters I've enjoyed getting to know, some amazing storylines to obsess over, and they're a nice distraction from the real world for a half hour/hour :p. Plus, they've provided a lot of excellent fanfic material to write and read :D.

-My favorite musicians for creating some of the most wonderful, beautiful, moving, kickass songs and albums I've ever heard :). They always know how to remind me why music is such a special part of my life.

-All the super talented fanfic writers whose works I love to read/favorite/follow, and all the people who take the time to read/favorite/follow/review the fics I write. Thanks for making fandom that much more fun and enjoyable for me :).

I've even got to meet a couple people from various fandoms in person as well, which just further adds to what makes being in a fandom awesome.

-Stephen Colbert and John Oliver for getting me through the hell that has been this election, and for being around to help make the next four years a little more tolerable. And I'm also thankful to them and other comedians like Joel McHale and Craig Ferguson for just making me laugh in general over the years.

-And I'm also thankful to FandomSecrets for providing some fascinating conversations about any and everything under the sun. Even if I'm not familiar with the fandom being discussed, or the topic people are debating, you guys still make the discussion worth reading, and I tend to learn about something new in the process as well, which is always good.

Think that covers it for me.

I'm actually really excited for this season of Teen Wolf. The first two episodes have been kind of creepy, I love that the parents are in the main credits - even if we've yet to see Argent or Melissa - and I've never been a huge Stiles* fan, so a season that focuses more on the mystery of his absence could be right up my alley. Plus, I have to believe this is the season Melissa and Stilinski finally get together.

*I don't hate Stiles, and I think Dylan O'brien's done some great work...he's just...largely expendable to me. Wouldn't want to see him permanently gone, but not upset about a reduced role.

I'm thankful for people who roleplay with me even though...

I'm sometimes slow and unreliable because of various real life stressors.

I don't change characters often to pick up newer more popular ones.

I want to write really weird random things sometimes.

I'm grateful to all the people who read my fic, and to my betas. When I started out, I had no idea how important writing would become to me - nor how useful a skill I was developing. Of all the things I've invested hours in, I think writing was the best. And without people to read, comment, and help me learn, I would never have improved the way I did.

I don't think atm I'm super invested in any upcoming media. I've reached a kind of "what will be will be" state. If anything, I've been reading more older stuff lately. But I'm glad the world is full of beautiful things.

I am so very thankful for people who love to geek out, freak out, and just enjoy the hell out of the same things i enjoy. From the silly to the sublime, I've found 'my' people in fandom, and love it.

Fandom in general. I'm thankful that there's places where people with similar interests can get together and write stories, draw pictures, and talk about things.

I'm grateful that the MCU movies are so good. They haven't produced a genuinely bad one yet. I'm really looking forward to GotG vol.2, Thor: Ragnarok, Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Inhumans TV series. Especially Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Inhumans!

I'm also grateful for Agents of SHIELD, because I enjoy the show a lot and it gives me something to look forward to most weeks during autumn and spring. I also think they've done a great job with the villains on the show.

I'm also looking forward to Wonder Woman, as she's my childhood hero, and I'm desperately hoping her movie will be good. The trailers look good, but then, so did the trailers for Suicide Squad, and I got burned on that one pretty bad.

The other thing I'm really looking forward to is Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. I think the technology is finally at a point where they can do it justice.
