2. Yeah, it can get so boring after a while when every new "original" story fits in with the predetermined archetypes of seme and uke. Personally, I like beefy, where it's the little mannerisms of their characters that determine top & bottom vs. who is taller. (Reversibles are love!)

3. Oh wow, so THAT'S why I've never finished reading a manga series I like! Yeah, it's better when it never ends (if only in our imaginations!)

4. Seems like most can't get past the "pretty" factor when it comes to those two. "Who cares about his personality! He's fucking HAWT! DROOLZ" "Zomg, so ugly! Do not want!"

Of course, looks can only get them so far. Their characters will carry them (or not) the rest of the way.

2. Reversibles are awesome, but, there are some men who do have preferences as to what position they take! That's when those top/bottom or seme/uke things come in. :D As for the second half, hey man, effeminate males exist! They don't have to be women-with-penises, but, still!

9.) Yeah, that shit pisses me off too. It's always the good artists/writers that are ignored. Half of it is because of obscure fandoms or because they don't 'ship what the vast majority does.

And half the time, I think 90% of the twits in Y!G are underaged anyway.

Like I said to grayout, I should have reworded the secret a bit to focus less on the people who write and draw, and more on the ones who just don't try to improve.

Still, I'm pissed to see people getting praised for half-assed stuff. Kinda makes me want to stop trying so hard... *almost*

3. That happens to me a lot. Haven't finished SMT:N, haven't finished SRWOG, haven't finished Katamari... the list just goes on.

7. It's understandable. It's perfectly possible to feel lonely in a crowd.

9. The laws of popularity, I guess? I dunno, I don't trawl a lot of y! outside of my fandoms and I very rarely ever know what kind of drama's going on because I just don't CARE. Sure, it stinks that lousy artists/writers are popular, but that makes those who choose to read/look at/review the really good stuff all the more precious and special. :3

1. The most amusing thing I faced in the Death Note fandom were people who had 'their own interpretations' as to why the Wammy boys were the way they were. One of the amazing explanations were that L would get sold out to 'renters' and would be rewarded with sweets for 'a job well done'. And it was a habit that never left.

Needless to say, I boycotted any associations with fans of L/DN after that and enjoy it with just one or two people at most now. But I guess, you have to expect it.

2. Posessive/Playful/Naughty uke is my preference if I have to play with 'em. I write Mori Ranmaru, and I find it -annoying- when people are all like 'he's such an uke, he's so pretty' Uh. No. While I don't play for the sexual situations, if he's ever in one, he's not going to just lie (lay?) there and take it. And wow, that secret sounded so much like me. I dislike Takaba too. I don't think he has much of a personality, but neither does Asami (Yan and Fei all the way!)

2. I don't play ukes, probably because I don't think I could write bottom if I wanted to. I do, however, write semes with many different personalities. They all just, well... enjoy giving, more than receiving.

Which leads me to agree with you. Ranmaru can be pretty and still like giving it. ;; It's all preference, man, and not much determines that.

Takaba doesn't have much of a personality, and no, neither does Asami. They're rather stereotypical. However, I think Asami's a little more interesting because of his past and the fact that his motives are always so shrouded in mystery. I don't think he'll ever be developed, but, at least he's more likable than Takaba.

5. - WHAT, DID I MISS SOMETHING? AHHA, I never finished the game, but let me tell ya: I like Mitsunari for his personality more than his looks--it's a dominant coverage to mask his feminine looks. I LIKE THAT--so I roleplay him here and there for his personality alone. Ieyasu is WIN x359016136 though. I LOVE HIM. WHY DO PEOPLE HATE HIM? Just because he's a REAL man doesn't mean he doesn't deserve appreciation. Just gtfo those haters. :(((

3) I'm just like you. D: I end up finishing them eventually (in most cases), but it usually takes me a few months longer to complete the game or series than it should. It's not that I don't want to know the ending, it's that I just don't want it to be finished already.

9) Well, at least they're trying. :[ I guess they just update their stuff so frequently it gets seen more than the people who spend a lot of time and effort on their own stories/drawings, and their material appeases the rest of the fanbrats. There's a lot of Naruto and KH2 fanart floating around DA lately that really isn't that funny, well-done or even in character but pops up in the most-favourited section anyway.

The thing is, when you do something constantly you tend to improve a lot faster. So they might not have anything worth your time now, but they might someday. I know I wasn't what you'd call a mature and respectable individual when I first started drawing stuff either.

I'm not totally sure if I sound like it, so I'll say I actually agree with you that this isn't fair to the people who draw beautiful art and aren't recognized enough for it.

9. I'm essentially frustrated by people who get praised for reasons I just can't see, and then I find a great piece of art and only one or two people have told the artist how great they think it is. If someone is *trying*, then all the power to them! Please don't misunderstand and think I meant that I hate people who make art/fic/whatever that I personally don't find to be great. Everyone is growing, but what bothers me are the people who expect praise and get angry if they get a crit or whatever.
I wish I could re-word that secret, since I now see I wasn't clear with my intent on it. Sorry about that.
