I think it's the same reason people like celebrity gossip, but tbh I dislike it so much I didn't even watch the stuff I worked on, back in the day.

I don't get it either. My roommate is obsessed with the Kardashians and I can't help but see it as just another generic reality show where a bunch of whiny rich people yell at each other for no reason. :/

I'm okay with reality competitions, though I don't usually watch them, but I can't stand anything that follows people through their day. It feels kind of creepy and voyeuristic to me and it makes me uncomfortable. I know it's not really since they agreed to it but that's just the weird feeling I get.

I don't mind some of the competition reality TV shows, mostly the ones revolving around cooking/making things though as I find that they tend to be less drama filled.

And I like Storage Hunters because I want to see what's in the bins, I don't care for the fake 'drama' though, that's always dull.

But everything else, especially ones that follow people around in their day-to-day lives hold no interest for me at all and I cannot understand why they're so popular. But I must just be missing the appeal, which happens.
