The "building the suits" part of IM1 is my favorite part of any MCU movie, actually.

Oh, God yes.

This and the hammer-and-anvil sequence from earlier, in the cave? Sexiest thing ever. Unf.

Yes, this.

No lie, I would watch an entire movie that is literally nothing but Tony sequestered in a workshop building shit. Maybe some test flights as well. I'm here to watch a small battered man with bare arms blow himself up and hammer metal and rediscover elements in a workshop. Avengers who?

I too would buy a ticket to that movie!

Omg yes.

I think even more, I loved him taking a sledgehammer to his walls, i love how, even though he's got a ton of super-advanced stuff (computers and whatnot) and 'bots to do his fabrication, he *still knows how* to build all kinds of things by hand, he'd not afraid to be physically in there, getting dirty, and best of all - his stuff *works*.

Competency kink *through the roof*.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-27 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
And those aren't the only times he's hard. *cough* sorrynotsorry

(Anonymous) 2016-11-28 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
*stamp of approval*

(Anonymous) 2016-11-28 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
I enjoy those scenes, too. But mainly because they're the only time Tony behaves like a competent, decent human being.

(Anonymous) 2016-11-28 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, he may be an asshole, but he's my asshole.

...That didn't come out right.

what is an IM secret withut some charater bashing, eh?
