I'm sorry, OP, that must suck. I don't ship Shallura but I feel bad for the people who genuinely like the ship, because it seems like most people just treat it as a side dish to Klance to make sure Shiro isn't anywhere near Keith. I initially kinda liked the ship, thanks to their interactions near the end of the season, and I was okay with the idea of it maybe becoming canon some day, but the fandom turned me off this ship completely. I especially can't stand that whole "Space Parents taking care of their of their smol Space Children" trope.

And I agree that it's very likely that Allura is actually around Lance, Keith and Hunk's age, considering Lance constantly flirts with her in canon (unless she's actually hundred years old since she's an alien, which would make any ship with her "problematic" according to tumblr standards). Either that, or the creators simply don't think an age gap is a problem, which is possible considering how many people who work on the show seem to like and be supportive of Sheith.
