This is the first time I've been in a fandom where the bara has more porn (in terms of fanart) than the twinks, is the main source for non-con, and bottoms a bunch. So I can't relate to your qualms at all, OP. Frankly, I couldn't be happier with the way fandom treats Shiro as far as lewdness goes.
